What is ASPR?

The Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (ASPR) is a growing professional organization comprised of more than 1,000 in-house physician recruitment professionals. Our members recruit physicians and other healthcare providers to staff the hospitals, clinics, and managed care organizations where they are employed. Our membership of 1,000 + spans the United States and Canada. The members of ASPR aim to find physicians the best jobs for their professional goals, families and lifestyles.

ASPR is the only organization of its kind run by in-house physician recruiters.

Our founding members created this organization in 1990, as a networking and educational resource dedicated solely to in-house Physician Recruiters. Today, ASPR continues to be the main educational resource for in-house Physician Recruiters. ASPR is dedicated to the professional development of in-house Physician Recruiters through networking, our quarterly professional Journal (JASPR), various educational programs and our fellowship program. Our goal is to support and enhance the careers of in-house Physician Recruiters.
